There are many awesome volunteers on-hand on the day of our book festival. Volunteers participate in the festival and perform tasks that make the event such a wonderful experience for authors and visitors. There is an opportunity for people to serve as docents greeting our attendees, assisting the authors with their book signings, helping out with children’s activities, setting up and taking down the rooms, helping with book sales, and a wide range of other functions. Our volunteers routinely say that they enjoy meeting and working with the people they meet here, making new friends, all while contributing to the common goal of advancing literacy in our community.
